A dozen at Oceanside Gateway As published in The San Diego Daily Transcript, December 18, 2007 Joe McDermott of Coldwell Banker Commercial Almar Real Estate Group and Jim Spain with Colliers International represented the seller of the Deal of the Week. Barry Hendler and Matty Sundbery of Grubb & Ellis|BRE Commercial represented the buyer. The deal was the sale of 12 industrial condominium units in the Oceanside Gateway Business Park at 1634-1686 Ord Way in Oceanside for $5.3 million. The buyer was Spectrum Rosen II, LLC of Aliso Viejo headed by Jan-Erik Palm. The acquisition was financed with a loan of $3.45 million from Ernst Rosen Vardepapper AB. The seller of the property was the developer, PCCP bkm Oceanside II, LLC. The Gateway Business Park features 141,472 square feet of industrial space as well as 34 freestanding buildings and condominiums, totaling 312,832 square feet. The eight-building first phase was completed in summer 2006. The second phase of eight industrial buildings totaling 69,879 square feet wsa completed at the end of 2006. The final phase, consisting of an additional 26 freestanding buildings totaling 242,953 square feet, was completed in early 2007. |
