Laurel Travel Center on W. Laurel sold

The approximately 160,716-square-foot Laurel Travel Center at 1025 W. Laurel St., San Diego 92101, the southeast corner of Laurel Street and Kettner Avenue, has been sold for $11.1 million.

The buyers were Onecap Holdings LLC, a California limited liability company (24 percent), c/o David Taban, and 14th Place Holdings LLC (76 percent), 888 S. Figueroa St., Suite 1900, Los Angeles 90017, with Enayat Taban manager. The acquisition was financed with a loan of $1.21 million from Ultimate Holdings LLC. The seller of the property (assessor's parcel 533-022-02) was San Diego Garage LLC, is manager Armand E. Lasky. Built in 1986, the six-and-a-half-story Laurel Travel Center offers 463 parking spaces and approximately 9,800 square feet of street-level commercial office and retail space. The new ownership plans to immediately begin upgrades to the property.

Senior Vice President Tom Olson, along with senior sales associate Steve Fiorentino and Senior Vice President Ron Graves with Coldwell Banker Commercial, represented the seller. Ron Beck, a senior vice president also with Coldwell Banker Commercial, and Farah Barman, founder of BFG Investments, represented the buyer. Title and Escrow was handled by Stewart Title. Coldwell Banker Commercial will retain the leasing for the building.
