Oceanside Gateway nearing completion

The first phase of the Oceanside Gateway Business Park is nearing completion, leasing agent Colliers International reported on Wednesday.

The 32-acre development is located on the south side of Oceanside Boulevard, east of College Boulevard at 1809-1821 and 1816-1828 Ord Way in Oceanside. When built-out, the Gateway project will include 141,472 square feet of industrial/office condominiums and 34 freestanding buildings, totaling 312,832 square feet.

The developer is bkm Development, headquartered in Orange County. Jim Spain, SIOR, and Josh McFadyen of Colliers International and Joe McDermott of Coldwell Banker Commercial North County Properties are cooperatively marketing the development for sale and lease.

Scheduled for completion this summer are eight buildings, totaling 141,472 square feet and featuring industrial/office condominiums for sale and multi-tenant industrial suites for lease. Another eight industrial buildings, totaling 69,879 square feet, will be completed by the 4th quarter of 2006. The final phase, consisting of an additional 26 freestanding buildings, totaling 242,953 square feet, will be completed in early 2007.

KPRS Construction Services is the general contractor. Architectural services were provided by Ware Malcolm. The Civil Engineer was Development Resource Consultant, Inc. Construction financing is being provided by Wells Fargo Bank.
