Ron King, Senior Vice President of Carlsbad-based Coldwell Banker Commercial (CBC), has been recognized by the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR) for the Largest Dollar Volume Transaction (Office) of the Year in 2008. The award will be presented to King during the SIOR Spring World Conference in San Diego in late April.

King, a founding partner of CBC, is are the exclusive agents for Seagate Corporate Center in Oceanside, California. He negotiated a new 84,000 square foot medical outpatient clinic for the Veteran’s Health Administration in a transaction valued at $99,530,000. It was the largest dollar volume transaction among all SIOR members in 2008.

More than 350 SIOR members submitted transaction reports in 2008, totaling more than 29 million square feet of space leased or sold and representing a total dollar volume of $1,589,961,619. The Society of Industrial and Office Realtors is a major professional commercial and industrial real estate association with more than 3,200 members in more than 590 cities in 25 countries.
