Senior Sales Associate Matthew R. Udewitz of Coldwell Banker Commercial Almar Group in La Jolla represented the buyer of the Del Mesa Apartments reported in this column Monday, Jan. 22. The property is a 21-unit complex at 7883 La Mesa Blvd. in La Mesa sold for $2.2 million. The 12,975-square-foot multifamily property was built in 1979 on a .71 acre lot.

Yvonne Marcus Barnum represented the sellers in-house as a Coronado Shores Co. broker. The apartment consists of 10 studio units, eight one-bedroom units and a two-bedroom, one-bath unit over tuckunder parking. The property also includes a three-bedroom, two-bathroom house and a small commercial space. The property sold at a 4 percent capitalization rate and 12 times the actual rents at the time of closing.
