Three brokers help give real estate group strong year 01/24/06 As published in The San Diego Daily Transcript, January 24, 2006 The number one independent affiliate nationally within the Coldwell Banker Commercial structure for the past four years, Coldwell Banker Commercial-Almar Real Estate Group is once again proving their strength with a 2005 gross transaction volume that nearly doubled from 2004. This success can be attributed to the company's distinctive broker-owner structure that focuses on the financial interest of the client while rewarding brokers for recruiting top candidates training and mentoring younger associates and achieving outstanding financial results. Tom Olson, senior vice president and principal, has been recognized as the number one producer for both the Towne Centre office and the company as a whole, with a total transaction volume of $180 million. Olson, establishing a new company high in personal production, secured several noteworthy transactions last year, including the $84.5 million sale of the Villages of La Mesa and the $42.9 million sale of Mark II Business Park with Ron Beck, CCIM, which achieved top honor as 2005 Industrial Deal of the Year. Jeff Givens, senior vice president, exceeded his personal best earnings level last year, earning him recognition as top producer for the Temecula office. Givens, a former rookie of the year in 2002 and Coldwell Banker Commercial Gold Circle of Distinction winner in 2003, executed a number of significant deals in 2005, including the $8 million sale of the Redhawk Industrial Center and the $5.4 million, 10-year lease of Temecula's Legacy Corporate Center. Adam Molnar, senior vice president who made partner in his third year, also enjoyed a personal best year in 2005, and has been named top producer for the Carlsbad office. Continuing to develop opportunities in the ever-growing North County market, Molnar was involved in several key transactions last year, including the $13.4 million sale of Carlsbad's Loker Corporate Center with Joe Crotty, and the $12.95 million sale of the two Yarrow Street industrial buildings with fellow top producer Tom Olson.
