San Diego Company Inks Lease for 60k sf of Carlsbad Industrial Space As published in Real Estate News Television, January 13, 2010 Outsource Manufacturing Inc, a San Diego-based contract manufacturing company, has signed a five-year, $2.05 mil lease for 59.9k sf ($0.57/sf/mo) of industrial space in Carlsbad Research Center. The building is located at 1600 Faraday Ave, north of Palomar Airport Rd and east of I-5 in Carlsbad. Outsource will be relocating from its 25k sf existing location, at 2839 Loker Ave East in February 2010. That facility is also in Carlsbad, roughly four miles to the east. Carlsbad Research Center, a 500-acre office, research and industrial park, was built in five phases over 10 years through 1995 and totals in excess of 7.5 msf. Outsource Manufacturing was represented by Eric A. Northbrook and Sean Williams of Cushman & Wakefield. The landlord, CRC Project One LP, was repped by David Onosko, Adam Molnar and Ron King of Coldwell Banker Commercial. Founded in 1997 by Ted and Christian Fogliani, Outsource Manufacturing is a turnkey manufacturer specializing in electronic products for commercial and industrial business. The company was named Inc. Magazine’s 2008 number 222-ranked overall “fastest-growing private companies in America,” and second in its “top 100 fastest-growing manufacturing companies in America.” The company was also featured as San Diego Business Journal’s number one ranked “Fastest 100 growing privately held companies” in 2008. |
