As Senior Vice President for Coldwell Banker Commercial Almar Real Estate Group, Rita Lancaster-Hannah brings a broad range of experience in real estate to Coldwell Banker Commercial. She has also raised capital for joint ventures and formatted limited liability companies. Mrs. Lancaster-Hannah has built strong relationships with her clients by offering effective and proven real estate services throughout the years, representing clients in acquisitions, asset management, disposition and condominium conversions, and the complex 1031 tax-deferred exchange process. Mrs. Lancaster-Hannah's commitment to professionalism and dedication to the multi-family industry have earned her transactions valued at more than $300 million.

Prior to joining Coldwell Banker Commercial, Mrs. Lancaster-Hannah served as the director of acquisitions and dispositions for Melroy Investments, Inc., in San Diego, California, specializing in multi-family brokerage, syndications and condominium conversions in Southern California and Nevada. Mrs. Lancaster-Hannah was awarded “Deal of the Week” three times during her employment with Melroy. Previously, during two years with Hendricks & Partners, she represented owners and investors in the acquisition and disposition of their Multi-Family properties and closed more than $50 million in transactions while she was with the firm.

Mrs. Lancaster-Hannah was promoted to Senior Agent within six months of beginning her real estate career. As a Senior Advisor and agent with Sperry Van Ness, she specialized in Multi-Family properties in Southern California. She was honored with the firm’s “Achievers of the Year” award and “Outstanding Professionalism and Diligence Award”.

Mrs. Lancaster-Hannah earned her Associate’s Degree in Global Fashion Management from the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) in Los Angeles. She has also completed several CCIM (Certified Commercial Investment Member) courses, including Market Analysis for Commercial Investment Real Estate; Financial Analysis for Commercial Investment Real Estate; Group Ownership of Commercial and Investment Real Estate; and It’s a Whole New Business.

Born in Portugal, Rita was raised in Spain. She is fluent in Portuguese, Spanish, French and English.
