Ron Graves - Vice President Retail / Land / Investment Specialist rgraves@cbcworldwide.com Ron Graves graduated from San Diego State University and has been active in the real estate industry for over 25 years. He joined the Coldwell Banker Commercial Almar Real Estate Group in 2003. Prior to this he opened a chain of four restaurants, followed several years later with the establishment of a twentyfour broker commercial real estate company. He has completed a wide range of real estate sale and lease transactions involving retail, industrial, office, apartments and land, while representing both tenants and landlords. A major component of his work has been representing and consulting for some of the country’s largest developers. This includes work not only throughout California, but many other states. He has been instrumental in researching and selecting teams of planners, engineers and architects for various projects over the years. Extensive consulting background on new development opportunities, project entitlements, site selection and representation has given Ron the economic and demographic understanding necessary to provide landlords, developers and tenants with strong lease and sale negotiation. Currently, in the development field, he is consulting for developers in early planning and leasing for two mixed-use developments in San Diego County totaling over 2 million square feet. |

Over the past thirteen years he has represented the largest theater chain in the country, Regal Entertainment Group (Regal, United Artists, Edwards and many others). During this time, he has completed 15 transactions with them in several states, totaling over 1 million square feet. Now as their exclusive broker he works on new opportunities in Central and Northern California as well as San Diego. He has represented numerous major national and regional tenants, including Albertsons (formerly Lucky), Office Max, McDonalds, Avis, Sav-On Drugs, Taco Del Mar, El Pollo Loco and Denny’s. While maintaining an active role in the International Council of Shopping Centers, he has published numerous articles in local and national publications, including the San Diego Union Tribune, The Investor, Shopping Center World, The San Diego Daily Transcript, The Forum and Western Real Estate News. Ron takes pride in representing every client with a sense of respect and urgency in their needs. Every assignment is undertaken with the same energy and concern as if it were his own property, whether a 1,000 square feet tenant or a $50 million asset. |
