Joe McDermott joined Coldwell Banker Commercial North County Properties in July, 2000. Joe is Senior Vice President, Partner and is a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM). Specializing in owner and user representation and leased investments— Over $190 million of industrial property sold via investments, build-to-suits, and user sales. Personally involved in over 900 lease transactions. Joe is a Commercial real estate broker with in-depth experience with leased investments, tenant representation, sales and leasing, build-to-suits and development.

Mr. McDermott was also with Colliers International in the Carlsbad office for eight years before joining our company, he was a Senior Vice President. Joe was with John Burnham & Company in Escondido, California for two years as an Industrial Specialist.

Joe graduated from National University Business Graduate School, San Diego, California with an M.B.A. & Cal Poly State University, San Luis Obispo, California with a B.S. Business Admininstration / Finance.

Some of Joe’s professional Milestones are from 1997 – 1999 one of the Top Five Colliers International, 1997 he was Number 10 Industrial Broker overall within colliers U.S. operations, International Award of Excellence. In 1991 we was award as the Top Industrial Broker in leasing and sales, second overall in John Burnham and Company in the Escondido office.

Joe lives in Carlsbad with his two kids Grady and Shannon, and their dog Cabo.
