Jim Karlovsky specializes in assisting businesses, property owners and investors with the leasing, purchasing and selling of North San Diego County’s office properties.

Jim joined Coldwell Banker Commercial as a Sales Associate in mid 2007; earned recognition as the Company’s Top Producing First-Year Salesperson in 2008, and earned Senior Associate status in 2009. Jim has been responsible for the development of the Company’s North County office building data systems, as well as the development and implementation of the Company’s comprehensive Office User Representation Program. By leveraging his resulting, unique understanding of both North County’s office properties and businesses owners, Jim continues to earn increasing recognition as a valuable and effective resource in Landlord Representation; representing such esteemed clients as RYAN Companies US, Inc., and Rockefeller Group Development Corporation.

Jim is a graduate of the University of California, San Diego, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics with a Minor in Law & Society. Prior to pursuing his career in Commercial Real Estate, Jim attended Loyola University Chicago School of Law where he was the recipient of the Honors at Entrance Scholarship and Loyola Alumni Grant.

Along with his significant educational background, Jim brought to Coldwell Banker Commercial more than seven years of leadership and work experience in customer service, including three years in a management position with local San Diego Company, Karl Strauss Breweries.

Jim is a CCIM Candidate currently pending designation, and a Member of the CCIM San Diego Chapter. Jim is an active Member and leader in both the NAIOP Developing Leaders program and Urban Land Institute (ULI) Young Leaders program. Jim is a graduate of the Carlsbad Citizen’s Academy and a Member of the Carlsbad Chamber of Commerce and San Diego Chamber of Commerce.

Jim is a native of Chicago, Illinois and moved to San Diego in 2001. Jim currently resides downtown San Diego, and is an avid traveler and beach volleyball player.
