Joseph R. Crotty began his real estate career in January 2003 and has been working with three Senior Vice Presidents and Founding Partners in the industrial division. Completing his first year with Coldwell Banker Commercial – North County Properties, Joe has established a well-rounded background in commercial real estate having participated in building sales and lease transactions, as well as various investment sales and land sales. He is an active member of the marketing team for the 400 acre Ocean Ranch project consisting of various build-to-suits, land sales, building sales and multi-tenant leasing, and continues to establish and refine new client relationships.

Joe has an impressive background in sales, marketing and management skills, contributing 9 years of broad experience to his new position.

Throughout his years with Sony, Crotty was successful in generating millions of dollars in sales revenue for the company, making him an excellent addition to the Coldwell Banker Commercial team. He attended the University of California, Riverside and graduated in 1993 with a B.A. in Administrative Studies. Crotty accepted his first position as Exhibitor Relations Representative for Columbia Pictures/ TriStar Pictures shortly after graduation. Through maintaining correspondence with theater owners, suggesting promotional and marketing ideas, and traveling to 600 theaters throughout the United States, Crotty was able to establish an extensive network of over 100 contacts. After one year in this position, Crotty was hired as Western Division Sales Manager for Sony Pictures Entertainment, and was responsible for securing profitable long-term deals on all Sony motion pictures in addition to negotiating film rental contracts.

Crotty, a California native, is currently living in the San Elijo Hills with his wife Kelly, their sons Joe Jr. and John and their daughter May. He enjoys all sports, and is currently focusing on triathlon competitions.
